Riding Lessons

Columbia Horse Center
offers riding lessons for children and adults, ages 5 and up. Our instructors have all been through our own in house instructor school, as well as having training from various other prestigious equestrian facilities.

Our group lessons are held Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 9:30, Saturdays and Sundays all day. Group lessons consist of an average of 6-8 students.
As of November 1, 2007, prices are as follows:

Weekly group lessons:
$497.00 per 13 week quarter
* Discount for Columbia residents with Columbia zip code

Semi-Private Lessons:
$67.00 per hour per person
$255.00 for 4 lesson package

Private Lessons:
$73.00 per 45 minute session
$302.00 for 4 lesson package
* Discount for Columbia residents with Columbia zip code

We offer a free Introductory Lesson every Saturday at 1:00 PM. This lesson is designed to show people not familiar with our facility what a riding lesson is like, as well as the opportunity to hear about our philosophy in teaching, meet some of our instructors and horses, and to see the barns.
Come any Saturday around 12:45 PM.

Columbia Horse Center
offers a variety of lessons for all ages and abilities. Our riding classes are scheduled separately for adults and children, as well as riding ability. Yet our classes are formal enough to allow for progress in the safest manner possible. We believe that every person should be able to full-fill their dreams.
